frequently asked questions

Q: What is your biggest weakness?

A: I have a hard time saying no at times, which can result in having way too much on my plate. I am glad however that I have learned skills in time management and problem solving that allow me to work around those situations and complete all of my tasks to the highest standard. Healthy stress managing skills help a lot as well when things get overwhelming, I have also learned that it is okay to ask for help from others when needed.

Q: What is your biggest strength?

A: I would probably have to say my creativity. I really enjoy being creative working on projects from light graphic design to photography but also to in using that skill to find new ways to solve problems. Approaching things from a different angle and solving puzzling issues is something I thrive on.

Q: If you started a business what would it be?

A: I would want to do something innovative or takes a new perspective on an existing idea. I will not tell you my actual idea because well, then you might steal it. The world has a lot of potential and I think we always need to take a moment look at what we have, find what we like about it and constantly look for ways to make it better.

Q: Do you like to work by yourself or with a team?

A: I do well with both but really it all depends on the task at hand. If it is a task that reflects the big picture, then I love working in teams because a fresh perspectives and multiple eyes help bring about the best results; I also really value input from others. However a more detailed oriented task or taking care of the finishing touches I really like to do individually, that is where I feel I do my best solo. I am always open to peer reviews however because well no one if perfect.

Q: What was a time you disagreed with a decision. What did you do?

A: This is something that happened to me multiple times while I was in Media Lab working with many different creative groups. When we disagreed on the direction of a project or even something as small as a font I always encouraged us to solve the issue in multiple ways. We either drew both ideas on a white board and share why we believe our idea would be the best or bring in someone from outside our circle to bring in a new perspective.

Q: what is your favorite animal?

A: The Moose, they are large goofy animals and I think their cute.
